Brick Brick is a collection of small batch ceramics from the hands of Nehiyaw-Eastern European artist Tara Dwelsdorf. 

The form and surfaces of these ceramic pieces are results of an ongoing exploration of raw minerals, found objects and the feeling of nostalgia.  Each hand-built object is the result of various clays and minerals being layered together and shaped into a final form. The hand-built nature of this work embraces the notion of a perfectly imperfect aesthetic, where minor variations may occur. An emphasis is placed on creating surfaces that evoke a sense of organic nature and timelessness, with the hopes that they can exist within different spaces for generations to come.  

Brick Brick Studio is located in East Vancouver, BC on the traditional, ancestral and unceded territory of the Coast Salish peoples–Sḵwx̱wú7mesh (Squamish), Stó:lō and Səl̓ílwətaʔ/Selilwitulh (Tsleil-Waututh) and xʷməθkʷəy̓əm (Musqueam) Nations.
